In 4 days I will be boarding a flight in Chicago to arrive in Rome, Italy at 9:30 in the morning.  I can't help but to think of how lucky and blessed I am to be given the opportunity to go on such an amazing trip.  I feel so many emotions, mostly excitement, but also the usual nervousness when you are traveling to a different country with unique customs and routines.  After this trip I'm sure my goals to travel will multiply and both my wallet and I will cry because of the small possibility of these dreams actually coming true.  But, I can't wait to learn more about Italy and Spain and gain an appreciation for their culture.  I'm sure the views I'm going to see will be incredible and not easy to capture in pictures.  For all of you interested here is a list of the places I will be visiting:  Rome, Vatican City, Positano, Venice, Milan, Cinque Terre, and Barcelona, Spain.  My hope is to post a blog every day or every couple of days to summarize what I did and what I saw but seeing that I only am allowed one suitcase and a carry on backpack, I'm not sure I am going to allow my laptop to take up some of my precious space.  So, I might just have to make one big post when I get back.  Hopefully you all enjoy reading about my trip despite my dull writing.. (I hope one day to be like my blog idol:  Kasey Kaisershot) and if you have any advice for me before my trip, I'd love to hear it!  Thanks Uncle Brad for giving me the best graduation present in the whole world (literally), I can never thank you enough.  See you in two weeks blog friends!
